Alco Models Locomotives
An ad in the March 1967 edition of Model Railroader magazine announced the coming of a new line of imported brass locomotives under the ALCO Models banner. ALCO used KMT of Japan for production of most of its brass models through the 1960s and 1970s.
Alco’s entry in the double-diesel projects of the early 1960s came to HO as a brass model via Alco Models in 1971. Kumata of Japan produced C-855A (D-107) and C-855B (D-105) for Alco Models’ catalog.
